The purpose of the Friends shall be to maintain an association of volunteers interested in supporting our local library by

1. Focusing public attention on the library;
2. Stimulating the use of the library’s resources and services;
3. Promoting financial support through donations, endowments, and bequests to the library;
4. Supporting the library in developing services and special programs;
5. Generating legislative support when necessary to accomplish our purpose.
